IN GENERAL . . . Oaklake Trails Naturist Park is located on more than 400 acres of wooded, rolling hills halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa.  We are on the highest point of land in the area, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.  Miles of hiking trails and jogging paths lace the grounds leading to lakes, ponds, canyons, and numerous rock formations.  Our facilities include a clubhouse and picnic pavilion with showers, restrooms, swimming pool, shuffleboard and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, petanque court and 60 R.V. sites with hook-ups, and a dump station.

Oaklake Trails and its hundreds of friendly members are part of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).  The AANR is an affiliation of nudist clubs and resorts all over North America.

The nudist philosophy is simple:  Being nude is natural.  Runners have found that nude running gives them a feeling of freedom and exhilaration that cannot be matched in any other way.  Oaklake Trails offers this run to the general running community to give local runners the opportunity to enjoy this interesting and different running experience.

We invite you to experience the freedom of clothing optional family recreation.

RACE COURSE . . . This is a fun and challenging course laid out on trails and gravel roads enclosed entirely within Oaklake Trails.  No pets, bicycles, strollers, baby joggers or in-line skates will be permitted on the course for safety reasons.

ENTRY FEE . . . $20.00 if pre-registered.  To be pre-registered, the entry form must be post marked on or before September 11, 2004.  Entry fee is $25.00 after September 11, 2004.   Current Oaklake Trails members may deduct $5.00.  For XXL shirts, add $2.00 per shirt.  There will be an evening meal.  You can pay when you are served.

REGISTRATION . . . To pre-register, complete and mail the entry form so it is post marked on or before September 11, 2004.  Make your check or money order payable to Oaklake Trails and enclose with the entry form.  Send to:

Do not mail your entry form if it would be post marked after September 11, 2004.  In such case, register in-person on the day of the race.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE . . .

RACE CATEGORIES . . . Male and female:  under 18,  19 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 and over.

OLT AWARDS . . . Each runner will receive a T-shirt to commemorate the race (even nudists wear clothes when appropriate).  Pre-registrants will receive their shirt on the day of the race, late registrants will receive theirs via mail.

OLT TROPHIES . . . Trophies will be awarded to the first male and female overall and to the first, second and third place male and female finishers in each category.

AFTER THE RACE . . . Complimentary refreshments will be served by members of Oaklake Trails.  You are invited and welcome to stay and enjoy the facilities - pool, hot tub, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, petanque, etc.. 

BEHAVIOR EXPECTED . . . We expect that no one will behave in a manner that requires an apology.  Of course, no firearms or illegal drugs are permitted on the property of Oaklake Trails Naturist Park, Inc.

SPECTATORS . . . On race day the grounds are open to members and runners only.  Spectators are not permitted.  If you will be accompanied by a spouse or significant other who is not a runner, please feel free to bring them.  Just place their name on the volunteer line of the entry form and we'll put them to work cheering you on and a course monitor, aid station worker, or finish line volunteer.

CAMERAS . . . No device capable of taking a photograph is permitted.  A club photographer will be available if you would like a photo taken.

SWSA NUDE RACING SERIES . . . The Oaklake Trails clothing optional 5 K Run, Walk, or Crawl is the seventh in a series of eight races within the Southwest Sunbathing Association's "Nude Racing Series".  The SWSA is one of seven regions of the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR).

During the Series, runners will accumulate points at each race they attend.  At the end of the series, the points from each runner's five best races will be totaled and the SWSA will present overall and age group "series" awards to those with the highest point totals.

Each runner must finish at least five races within the SWSA Nude Racing Series to be eligible for the series award.

SWSA SCORING DETAILS . . . Scoring for the Nude Racing Series is on a percentage point basis.  For each race, points are awarded based on the percentile finish of each runner in his or her gender.  For example, a male who finishes first with a time of 20:00 will receive 100 points (winning time/finisher's time X 100.00); a male runner that finishes in 30:00 will receive 66.7 points (20:00/30:00 X 100 = 66.7).

For the purposes of scoring, each runner's age group will be determined by calculating his or her age on July 4, 2004.  There will be no duplication of awards.  In the event of a tie, the award will be presented to the older competitor.

SWSA AWARDS . . . The SWSA will ship personalized awards to the series winners.

Awards will be presented with the highest "series" point totals for their four best races in the following age groups:  18 and under, 19 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 and over.
