A full house of 100 people jammed into the Clubhouse on December 31, 1999, to welcome the NUDE Millennium in style.  Charlie and Stacye did a great job coordinating the evening's entertainment.  We partied through the evening, toasted the New Year, then danced and sang into the wee hours of the New Millennium.

The lovely ladies of OLT put on a wonderful fashion show for everyone attending the Valentine's Party.  Everyone danced into the night with their sweetheart by their side.

March

The sharing of the green at our yearly St. Patrick's Day festivities was alive with laughter.  The "Show Your Green" and the Men's Boxer Show were a big hit.   Prizes were given for innovative costumes.  A generous donation from a member allowed us to purchase dinner for the evening. Members brought dishes to complement the main course.  The good food, fun and dance helped warm up the cold weekend.   Guests from Kansas highlighted the event and we all danced until midnight.

September

Weekend of 1 - 4, Labor Day
Oaklake Trails enjoyed a busy and exciting weekend.  There was a murder mystery dinner theater, The Naked and the Dead, hosting 82 participants, with three of the 10 tables solving the mystery.  There was a nature hike by the falls/canyon area.  The meadows and woods were showing signs of heat stress and moisture deficiency.   Twenty-six attended the Brown Thumb Gardening class. They learned how to grow an attractive garden in this climate and in this soil.  It was a great workshop.  In Carol's craft class, several learned to make bows and potpourri roses.  Winners of the sports competitions took home sports towels and OLT caps.  Sunday afternoon both children and adults enjoyed 2 hours of body painting, followed by a magnificent potluck, which included a dish prepared with the collapsed banana plant from the Clubhouse and a Tequila-lime chicken, made by Elaine.  Nobody went away hungry.  The evening was concluded with dancing in the Pavilion.  The weekend ended with a potluck breakfast and a relaxing day by the pool.
