COVID-19 information
for July 2021
Dear OLT Annual and Day Members
UPDATE JULY 23, 2021
The Covid numbers in Oklahoma are rising and with that, we want to re-visit our practices at Oaklake Trails to make sure we do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We have re-instituted our questionnaire for all visiting day members checking into Oaklake. This is a three part questionnaire to remind people that if you have been exposed to someone with Covid symptoms recently, have a temp of 100.5 or greater within the past 48 hours or have tested positive for Covid within the past 10 days, you should not be coming to the park. Residents can obviously be here, but should quarantine until tested.
We are asking each of our regular members and residents, who have gate codes and do not stop at the office, to also pay attention to these important safeguards.
If you have been vaccinated, then you’re most likely safe; having said that, just like the flu vaccine, it is not 100% effective. If you have symptoms of COVID, please do not assume just because you have been vaccinated, that you cannot get it. If you have symptoms, you should not be in the park. If you live here, you should quarantine, until you can be tested. If you test positive, you should quarantine for at least 10 days from the date of symptom.
At this time, we are not going to ask guests if they have been vaccinated; that is a personal choice of everyone and we are not excluding guests that have not been. Most of our residents have been vaccinated and we appreciate their decision to protect themselves and others from this deadly disease.
If you have not been vaccinated, you may want to consider using a face mask and/or socially distancing.
Thank you for your help in keeping this disease from spreading and negatively impacting our members!
