COVID-19 information

April 23, 2020

Dear OLT Annual and Day Members

We have missed you, and are so eager to see you back at OLT. But health and safety, for you and for our staff, are our primary concerns.

Oklahoma Governor Stitt released a three phase plan on April 22, which will allow us to reopen under certain conditions. Beginning May 1, 2020, we will admit only Annual Members and guests of lot holders for the first two weeks.

If all is well and there are no additional directives, we will then welcome Day Members beginning May 15,2020.

Social distancing will be required as soon as the park opens. We will plan all club sanctioned activities out of doors until social distancing is no longer required. If weather becomes an issue, we will either cancel the event or modify it to comply with current health requirements.

The pools and hot tub will be open. The hot tub will have a maximum occupancy of 3 singles or 2 couples to maintain social distancing. Lounge chairs at the hot tub and at the pools will be arranged to accommodate couples sitting together and also singles, but all within social distancing guidelines. There will be spray bottles with bleach and water disinfectant at each pair/single chair. We will ask you to spray the chair before and after you use it. Volleyball will be limited to 6 per side and we are planning tournaments to help give everyone an opportunity to play. The conversation pool will be open but we will insist you maintain social distancing in that pool also.

We will allow no more than two customers and two staff in the office at one time. Office employees will be required to stay behind the desk and will be provided with equipment or materials to aid in the safe performance of their duties.   We will ask all Annual Members who do not have lots to check in at the office and Darren will scan your forehead with a thermometer. No one will be admitted to the camp with a fever over 100 degrees.

The clubhouse will be open.  The tables and chairs will be set to maintain social distancing.

Please observe the six foot social distancing.

We will be cleaning the clubhouse, bathrooms, showers and laundry at least four times a day, but disinfectant will be available at all those locations for you to clean before and after you use them. If we move an event indoors, we will station someone at the door to take your temperature with a scanning thermometer. Again, if you have a temp of 100 or more, you will be asked to quarantine at your campsite or leave the park.

We want to be open, providing facilities and activities that will help keep you happy and healthy, but we need your full cooperation and compliance to do that.

We know we can count on each of you to keep OLT the great community it has always been.
