Friday, August 9th
8:30PM - 11:30PM at the Pools: Naked Nate's OVERBOARD Pool Party!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of champagne wishes fulfilled at Naked Nate's Overboard-themed yacht party! Dive into the fun as we bring the high seas to life, inspired by the classic movie "Overboard" with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. Set sail for an unforgettable night with nautical décor, dancing, and all the charm of a luxurious yacht experience—right here at our OLT!
Channel your inner Goldie or one of her crew members by donning your best 1980's yacht attire (think captains hats, glamorous shoulder pads, fascinators, ankle corsages and makeup, butler's uniforms, etc.,) or channel your inner Kurt with a mullet and cutoff t-shirt (EASY!) and get ready for a boatload of fun. For the ladies who love to get glammed up, this party is for YOU! Swag provided to the 1st 90 guests. Mingle from 8:30-9:30, Dancing from 9:30-11:30. Light hours-devours served (Late Night Buffett at the Bistro starts at 10:30).
10:30PM - 11:30PM at the Bistro: Late Night Buffett!
Disembark from the pools and head to the Bistro to recharge and soak up the champagne for a delicious late night bistro.
Saturday, August 10th
10:00AM - 11:00PM at the Pool: Water Aerobics with Larry
Join Larry in the conversation pool for a morning pick-me-up. Bring a pool noodle, if you have one. We will have some on hand, just in case you don't have your own.
12:00PM - 4:00PM at the Pool: Water Volleyball
It's time for Water Volleyball! We've got new volleyballs, a new net, and new ball holders. Come and try them out. All skill levels welcome.
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Clubhouse: Life Drawing
Oaklake is pleased to offer a series of life drawing opportunities this year. Participants of any skill level are encouraged to attend. A nude model will pose for short gesture drawings, then poses will get longer (up to 20 minutes) for participants to complete more finished works of art. Bring your own materials. Donation based, model and facilitator will split donations.
6:00PM - 8:00PM at the Chapel: Movie Night
Chapel movie night will occur on the 2nd Saturday of each month and will feature a Christian based movie. So, come to the Chapel for a good movie and some fun fellowship with friends.
7:00PM at the Clubhouse: Bingo w/Thomas B.
It will be $2 per card per game. 5 rounds, last game will be blackout and has the best payout. Part of the money will go to the activities account; the rest will go to the winners. So come out and have some fun!
8:00PM at the Pavilion: Back to School Fundraiser Dance
It's time to send the kids back to school, so we'll be having a raffle to raise funds for the Depew schools. It will be $2 per raffle ticket so bring your cash! You can also bring donation items like: Clorox wipes, paper towels, baby wipes, tissues, and we'll drop it off at the school.
